Today I drove about 3 hours total, and during that time I came up with some ideas for tattoos I think would be cool to get. I already have the Greek word for "faith" in the inside of my left forearm and definitely want more. However, I was completely unsure of anything else I would want. Until today. I think my ideas are pretty awesome so here are the pictures of what I'm thinking of.
First off, there's a combination of my all-time favorite games and book series. The Legend of Zelda Triforce with the Harry Potter Deathly Hallows in the Triforce of Power, Assassin's Creed symbol in the Triforce of Wisdom, and the N7 and Alliance symbol from Mass Effect in the Triforce of Courage. Then the "One Ring" quote from Lord of the Rings, in elvish text, circling the whole thing. Also, the Dishonored symbol right in the middle because, Dishonored. I feel like each of those games matches its piece of the Triforce, thus the placement of the symbols, plus some extra things from my nerdy hobbies.
Next, we have the symbols of my three favorite Greek gods. I have an obsession with all things Greek mythology and these three gods are the coolest bros up on Mount Olympus. Zeus, master of the sky, is the symbolized by the lightning bolt, Poseidon, master of the ocean (which I actually have a slight fear of, funny enough. I do still like being on the water just as long as I'm in a boat.), is symbolized by the trident, and Hephaestus, the god of creation and the forge, is symbolized by the anvil. I love being in the sky (and jumping out of perfectly good airplanes), deeply enjoy being in the ocean (in a boat), and wish I knew how to smith weapons and such.
These are just rough drafts, basically, and I definitely don't have the money to get a new tattoo right now. However, when I do have the money, it'll be fun figuring out what I do want.
Coming soon in my gaming blog, my thoughts and opinions on the game Dishonored (I bet you can't guess how I feel about the game based on this post).
